Orders will be dispatched as quickly as possible. Any items not in stock at the time will be sent as soon as possible. Any items that are likely to be out of stock for a lengthy period will be noted and a credit will be issued for the value. Please note – where items are “sold out” it can take 2 to 3 months for a new supply to arrive. It is often quicker than this but we cannot give guarantees for this as it is beyond our control. Therefore if an item is required urgently it is better to check with us before ordering by telephone or email on the items current stock status.
If any items are found, on receipt, to be defective or not the item ordered they should be returned immediately with a clear indication as why they have been rejected. If you have wrongly identified an item and you find it is incorrect for the use intended then we will either replace with the correct item, or refund the cost of the item less the original postage paid when ordering. Please return the packet with the item to us. Note, we can only replace items before use and will not accept items where any work has been carried out on its preparation. While we are happy to exchange small items at trade events we would prefer prior notification saying the correct replacements can be identified beforehand.
A sale is deemed to have been made on dispatch by us of the items ordered. It you wish to cancel a sale after that point it can only be done when the items are returned to us in good condition. We cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage of orders when in transit. If you wish to ensure safest transit for your order please specify “Special Delivery” for inland GB orders, and “Tracked and insured” for overseas orders. Unless you specify this all castings orders will be sent by 1st class post or airmail. The exception to this is kit deliveries valued at more than £100.00 which we send by Special Delivery to GB addresses and Insured tracked items for overseas addresses.
Our castings, kits and other items are intended for use by adults and are not suitable for young children as they may contain small components, and many have sharp edges. They are scale items and are not intended as toys. Where items are cast in white metal note that this material contains lead and should not be handled or used when in the vicinity or preparation of food.
